According to relevant expert statistics, in 2003, the global output of redispersible latex powder was 190000 tons, mainly used in Europe and North America. The consumption of the Chinese market was less than 5000 tons. In 2007, the consumption of China's redispersible latex powder market reached 4~50000 tons. It is predicted that in 2010, the domestic demand for redispersible latex powder will reach 100000 tons.
According to statistics, there are about more than 2 billion square meters of new buildings in China every year, and there are hundreds of billions of square meters of stock buildings that need to be renovated. With the implementation of national building energy-saving laws and regulations and the vigorous promotion of ready-mixed dry-mixed mortar technology, As well as the restrictions on the mixing of construction mortar in the construction site by various provinces and cities, the application of redispersible latex powder will surely be vigorously developed.
