By incorporating 2% to 3% of redispersible emulsion powder, the wear resistance of self-leveling mortar can be significantly improved. The redispersible polymer powder disperses and forms a film within the mortar paste, filling the pores of the paste and interlocking with the hydration products of cement to form a three-dimensional network structure, thereby making the mortar structure denser.

The flexible polymer film helps to relieve internal stress in the mortar, reducing stress concentration and minimizing the occurrence of microcracks. Moreover, this polymer film not only acts as a hydrophobic layer but also does not block the capillaries, ensuring that the material possesses good hydrophobicity and breathability.
At the same time, due to the sealing effect caused by the polymer film, the material's impermeability to moisture, chemical resistance, frost resistance, and durability are greatly improved. This also enhances the mortar's flexural strength, crack resistance, adhesion strength, elasticity, and toughness, ultimately preventing shrinkage and cracking of the mortar.
